Your Stars:
So, listen, I know I’ve been saying that this next year is going to FINALLY bring you some sweet relief and out from under siege (a space and place that you are all too familiar with for lo these last seven years!) but, just so we know, that forward momentum won’t really get going until the second part of January.  So, as enthused and eager as you are for these different and positive days to begin, you’ll just have to hold out a little bit longer.  But, while you’re doing that you might want to think about tying up some still loose ends that are hanging around your relationship agendas.  See, aggressive and warrior Mars turned retrograde in your 7th House of Partners on the 20th of last month where he will stay stuck in stall until early March.  This gives you a chance to review, revise and wave goodbye to any old issues or concerns that have been putting you on edge while you’ve been asking Jesus to take the wheel.  Look, with Mercury the Messenger in retrograde at the same time as Mars is early on, any attempts to push past obstacles and blockages will only result in bruising.  Unlike so many of the other sun signs, you are WELL advised to look back in order to move forward with ease and grace and, dare I say it…PROSPERITY!  But, all that said, one of your MAJOR turning points of the year, and maybe of your life, comes at the middle of this transitional and very important month for Aquarians.  But before I start waxing poetic about the middle to end of January, let’s polish off the energies that take place at the start.  There is real magic in the air on New Year’s Day and if I were you I’d be logging on to my website and reading my blog and doing some of the same stuff and things I’ve been writing about there for this same day in order to give 2010 the blast off it deserves.  There is a beautiful Sun – Uranus quintile on January 1 that actually invites you to don a top hat and grab your wand and then make a wish or two come true.  What do you want Aquarius?  It’s time to get perfectly and positively clear!  There is luck afoot and it’s not just for rabbits.  And tricks aren’t for kids.  But there’s no need to resort to trickery or deception when this much good stuff is circulating.  And you can expect to see some of that magic bumping into Love when that same emotion comes creeping in on the 3rd, 4th and 5th.  That’s when Venus enters your picture.  This time it’s a frame up because she really, really wants you to learn how to open your heart…again…and let others in.  Then, as if that weren’t enough to override the crap energies associated with Mars and Mercury in retrograde, a spate of more magical quintiles continues during the next four days that follow.  Only this time Mercury and Mars and Uranus unite to allow you turn your intentions into reality.  Do do it already.  I know it’s been a long time since you believed that anyone had your back, but I swear that during these transformational days, the whole Universe does!  You should actually do some special and intentional ceremony or ritual during these days as well.  Just to give your dreams a boost.  And a voice.  Accent on voice.  With Mars still stalled in your 7th House of Relationships you should look around and find a friend to falderal with.  He or she will add oomph to the energetic intent.  Now, as Uranus sextiles Venus AND the Sun on the 13th you might just begin to believe.  In all that I’m promising here that is.  With Mercury moving forward on the 15th, the same day as a powerful New Moon eclipse, the future feels so close that you can almost smell it.  And it smells like delicious cherry pie!  This is around the exact same time (the 17th to be precise) that generous gift-giving Jupiter enters Pisces and YOUR 2nd House of Income.  Oh happy day!  OH HAPPY DAY!  Your confidence, your esteem, your self-worth AND your bank account all start to soar.  Did I say OH HAPPY DAY already?  Jupiter actually positively influences and impacts that same house until the first week of June so you need to move now and just suspend all the skepticism and disbelief.  Look, if I’m wrong then you’ve only moved some energies that will serve you anyway.  But, if I’m right…then these are the days when you need to get your plans in place and start the wheels of your future love and success and health and happiness turning.  As the end of the month begins to play out you’ll notice that you need to ground some of the dreams in a more concrete way.  In other words, be more realistic with your dreams.  As both Venus and the Sun shine in your sign on the 22nd and the days that follow in your 1st House of Self, they bring a stabilizing effect to Saturn sitting in your 9th House of Higher Vision.  With Saturn restraining your creativity for a couple of days you can attend to the more mundane business matters at hand.  NO monkey business though because now’s the time to make the impression that matters and that will last and last and last.  The days surrounding the 27th feel somewhat more inspired and urgent almost as the planetary consorts and canoodlers, Venus and Mars have a lover’s spat that leaks out all over your enthusiasm.  Don’t get caught in the crossfire but, rather, step away from the drama.  Okay so look, no one knows better than I do that you have some buried anger and resentment for the way things went these last few/seven years, but, there’s so much good stuff coming up that there’s no need to let them come barreling out of you when the cranky and tense Full Moon of the 30th takes potshots at all of us.  Let’s end where we started; take care of old relationship issues during the slow start at the top of the month and then don’t look back after the 17th.  It’s that easy.  If you’re not all gun shy that is.  Get un-shy.  This is the year that reminds you who you are and boy oh boy are you glad to re-member.  Now, you’re whole again.  And pretty soon there just might be someone else who values your ENTIRE being as well.   Whew.  Close call.  But you made it.  Good for you.

Your Shui:
You simply must keep in mind that this is the month that jumpstarts an entirely new future but that the future you’re intending now needs to be created and built brick by magical brick.  The foundation is certainly there.  You’ve been pouring that for years now.  But now we need to get that castle all the way up to the sky.  Rome wasn’t built in a day, God created the world in six, you certainly are not going to be everywhere you want to by the end of January.  But you WILL see that you’re heading in a decidedly different and much more positive direction and that will be quite enough for war weary you.  So, let’s get a clean slate started for the blueprint that promises to play out over the next few years. And let’s start creating that castle and moving those efforts in the kitchen and dining room.  First and foremost pick a few days before the 17th and clean out ALL your kitchen cabinets.  Reduce the clutter and clear the decks.  Now, let’s look at your stove since it’s considered to be one of the most important appliances in your home.  The stove represents wealth, abundance, bounty and the fruits of your labors; all the things that the coming year promises.  You have to heat it up.  The stove that is.  Use ALL the burners to bring the booty and the bounty.  Once a day.  For 27 days straight. Turn on ALL the burners for a few seconds/minutes.  Clean the top of the stove and as you do keep in mind your clear intention for increased abundance.  Hang a small rectangular mirror in back or above the stove as well.   This single act doubles the blessings and benefits the cooker brings.  Fill your freezer and your fridge with foods that signal style and wealth to and for you.  Roll up nine one dollar bills, seal them in a plastic baggie and stick them in the back of the fridge to create quick, cold cash.  NEVER put money in the freezer though as this can do the same to your assets.  And, lastly, put a bowl of fresh and juicy oranges on the dining room table.  The word for ‘orange’ and the one for ‘gold’ (the commodity that’s going parabolic!) are the same in many of the Eastern languages.  Talk about seeing the fruits of your labors!  Get ready to take a big bite.  No, even bigger than that.  There’s that’s better.
