Your Stars:
The best laid plans of mice and men are totally and frustratingly interrupted by two other ‘m’s this month with both Mercury and Mars traveling in retrograde for a good deal of it. Actually, even though Mercury the Messenger unravels sticky communications by going direct on the 15th, assertive and aggressive Mars stays in stall in your 9th House of Higher Vision until the beginning of March so it just might take that long to see some of your own best laid plans leave all the rodents and the rats behind. Don’t let these planetary ploddings push any of your well organized projects off the proverbial table though because they will come back around to support you as this New Year unfolds. For the moment though, with two key planets stuck in stall, you just may find that some of your dearest dreams are as well. Between this ration of retrograding and four planets parked in your 2nd House of Earned Income, money could be on your mind as well. So, now that we know that the Sun and Mercury, Venus and Pluto will all be pulling up stakes sometime soon in this 2nd House of Income does that mean you have permission to go buy that special little something you were hoping to get over the holidays? Nah. Keep the credit cards in your wallet and your head screwed on straight when the Sun, Venus, Mercury and extravagant Jupiter all meet up in that same second house on the 4th and 5th. You’re well advised to take a good look at your financial picture before buying even so much as a frame while these energies push and poke at you to find the perfect after Christmas sales. There’s no such thing. Now, when the energies surrounding the 11th comes calling, you can take the lock off your safe and see how creatively you find solutions to any financial situations and concerns. This is because Jupiter is hanging around again but this time, instead of whispering sweet nothings that will cost you, he’s saying straight talk that you’ll soon be able to take to the bank. Literally. It sounds like he’s telling you to go for it and put your plans into action as soon as Mercury moves forward on the 15th. So, you better go ahead and do what he says. Sometimes Jupiter really does know best. And, speaking of the eclipse, it offers you a chance at opportunity and breakthrough just when you thought that you were only offered the occasional breakdown. This solar eclipse actually activates that very active second house as well so your money worries should soon be a thing of the past. A Venus-Saturn trine on the 22nd followed immediately by one between the Sun and Saturn on the 24th gives you a great deal of support and sense and self esteem as well. And, while I’m at it, let’s not forget a solid sense of self-worth and confidence too. It’s just that all of this good stuff might not come as quickly as you would like. Just believe and have faith that it’s all about to shift for you and that the tides truly are turning. Believe that even when (or should I say especially when) you don’t feel like you’re in any sort of flow you’re actually just about to embark. Like on the very last days of the month when a jumpy and cranky Full Moon falls short of lighting up your distant horizons. You know why? Because you have to get your house in order before you can sail off into that sunset. But, you better hurry because your boat will be leaving soon. I can say that shore as I write this! Stop feeling like you don’t have enough time or energy or money or whatever to make your dreams come true. They’re all packing up to come and bid you Bon Voyage before stowing away on your next sail. Adventure’s around the corner. Just get your affairs in order and you’ll be well on your way to manifesting your heart’s desires.
Your Shui:
A powerful symbol of incoming prosperity and opportunities to achieve all same is a boat properly positioned inside your living space. This boat, unlike the proverbial one that I used as a metaphor for you a short while ago, should actually be three dimensional rather than an image or picture. The boat can be teensy tiny but does need to be able to hold some sort of treasure even if just a couple of chocolate gold coins. It should be placed immediately inside the front door with the bow pointed inward as if your ship has come in and is sailing into the main floor of your space. This ship symbolizes wealth and abundance arriving at your front door. For best results you may want to ‘cleanse’ or clear this symbol by waving incense around it for nine days before putting it in place. This will infuse an exceptional energy into the symbol there enhancing its effectiveness and your enthusiasm. You won’t even need a life raft. Although this one is most surely a true financial life saver!
