Leo, January 2010
Your Stars:
Burning the candle at both ends is nothing new for brilliant and bright you, but, this month, you just might want to make a more meaningful attempt at letting someone else take center stage (just for a bit!) while you backtrack over some old stuff that’s been bothering you since it surfaced last fall. Now listen, that doesn’t mean that you’ll be any less energetic, exuberant, enthusiastic or engaging than you normally are, it only means that you can unleash more of same once you can manage the excess energy that aggressive Mars is blowing at you while Mercury the planet of all things communication is still retrograde and stuck in stall. See, the juxtaposition of active Mars moving all kinds of energies versus the very still Mercury creating delays and distractions can be very frustrating. If you let it be that is. Instead, why not just wait until Mercury moves forward on the 15th which will also be around the same time that you get a sneak peek into a pretty powerful and fulfilling future. Just know that it’s Mars that’s making you revved and raring to go early on especially when Mars and Pluto meet up for a pissing match on the 3rd. Step away from the drama..and the text, the Twitter, the Facebook and the phone. If you do then you’ll be ripe and ready to meet all the good stuff that Venus hooking up with Mercury on the 5th promises will happen for you too. Now, speaking of the good stuff; Mercury moves out of stuck on the 15th, the same day that there’s a perfectly powerful New Moon eclipse in Capricorn. All of that energy will revive and restore your recent frustrated attitude but only if you promise me that you’ll attend to each and every detail that comes your way. Remember, God is in the details. Making this advice more an edict and a holy and sacred task. This eclipse certainly promises the potential of an opportunity that will have a long-term and positive impact on your health and all around well-being. Grab it. There is transition afoot and yours is on the gas pedal when Jupiter enters Pisces on the 17th. What’s that got to do with you, you ask? TONS! Especially when Venus and the Sun enter your 7th House of Partners directly following on the 18th and 19th. Relationships will be supportive and special but that doesn’t mean you can let go and let Jesus take the wheel. Stabilizing or even formalizing a commitment during the end days of the month will confirm all your idealistic visions for a wonderful, beautiful and brighter future. Relax a bit Leo, sometimes it’s good to get out from under that glaring spotlight every once in awhile. While the Sun joins Saturn and Venus in a lovely trine around the 22nd and days that follow you should spend time making plans for that bright future. Action steps as opposed to activity. The Leo Full Moon on the 30th allows you an opportunity to turn a small slip of the tongue into a major dispute if you’re not careful. Work with your feelings as opposed to opposing someone else’s. This is not a setback but rather a way for you to get rid of some old, stale and stuck emotions that have no place in that wonderful, beautiful and bright future. Use the time wisely and well and keep a lid on it. You’ll be happy you did.
Your Shui:
Stay focused, ambitious, energized and stay devoted to keeping your eye on the prize. It’s so close you can smell it. But, first, eat this: Cook some plain white rice and add a few leaves of saffron until it turns a warm, yellow color. Now mix some almond and saffron in boiled milk and add that to the rice as well. Or you can simply drink the milk that the almonds and the saffron have been boiled in; either way the results will be the same. See, this is an Ayurvedic cure for times just like the ones promised by the Full Moon all full of itself that rises in your sign end month. The almond and saffron mix is said to give people who drink the mixture sweet, caring and compassionate thoughts and also an ability to translate them into those same sorts of words. It’s believed that drinking/eating this boiled blend will also take away your anger and possibly your problems as well. Talk about YUM-O!
