Taurus, January 2010
Your Stars:
There might never be a better time than this month to go ahead and get out of your (crowded) head and ‘think’ from the heart instead. With Mercury the Messenger unable to deliver succinct communiqués while he continues to travel backwards while in retrograde and Jupiter taking his sweet time moving into Pisces around the 17th, life might seem quite the muddle. But only if you’re trying to figure everything out intellectually. If you just move from your gut and follow your hunches life could then indeed be quite nice and exceedingly rewarding. With restrictive Saturn turning retrograde in your 6th House of Work and Routines on January 13th you’ll be too busy trying to tie up loose ends anyway, so, you should take these next couple months while Saturn sits there to make a whopper of a life plan, including where you see yourself on the job front because come May, when this planet moves forward again, so will you. At warp and Star Trek speed. January jolts into overdrive very early on as Venus travels to visit both nebulous Neptune on the 2nd and then pries and prods Jupiter out of Aquarius on the 4th. Romance is in the air but only if you can forgive and forget and move past the pain. You can. I know you can. Venus and the Sun come back to bring some bright light as this pair conjuncts the Moon’s North Node on the 11th adding comfort and joy to your life. Who cares that those two are still hanging around from last month, just let them hang if you want to hook up with the THE one. And, then, as if she hasn’t done enough, Venus comes back again and enters your 10th House of Career on the 18th just minutes before the Sun brightens up that whole same house the very next day! New partners, perspectives, alliances and abundance will come easily if you can just get in the groove and realize that there’s no ‘I’ in TEAM. There is an ‘I’ in idealistic though which is what you will certainly feel as soon as this planetary pairing takes the reins. You know, while I’m at it, I think you should know that idealism comes calling alongside joy, cooperation, creativity and achievement. Nice huh? But remember when I was saying that this month will be all about trusting your gut and following your intuition and instincts. Well, the 18th and the week that follows that same date would be your time to shine and to remember that the rumbling you hear isn’t all because you had that second cup of coffee. Think about repairing critical relationships during this time too. Oh just do it, you’ll thank me later. Or maybe you might be thanking me when sparks fly on the 27th as Venus and Mars have eyes only for each other. They’re such a spectacle sometimes, first flirting and then fighting and then back flirty, flirty again. Hey…sound familiar?? If you want to turn your current flirtation into something less flighty, less fight-y and more, well, lasting and loving then be compassionate and kind and listen to all sides, especially as January comes to a close. A frank Full Moon on the 30th will give you the stage and the impetus to open up while closing the door to the past. Look, fighting about stupid stuff from the past is for amateurs. Don’t be a hater. Like I said you only need to follow your heart this month. IT will be better than any other GPS money can buy.
Your Shui:
There are days and, well, then there are days! January will be filled with the former if you simply decide to ignore the latter. Little moments of sparkling miracles that catch your eye and engage (ahem) will be the norm if you don’t get caught up in the prevailing pettiness especially during the last days of the month when passions rule. I already gave you those dates. Now let me give you something else to ensure that you spend the first days of this New Year getting rid of old inhibitions while finding lasting love: find an image of a magnolia (or two) and place it (them) in the ‘Romance/Relationship’ area of your bedroom. Every day, for 27 days straight, spend at least 2 minutes and 40 seconds affirming that this symbol will bring a wonderful and lasting love into your life. Even if there’s already one there. No harm refreshing. And, speaking of refreshing…ahhhhhh January!
