Aries, January 2010
Your Stars:
Okay, okay, even though the year might start out just like same old / same old (people pulling on your time and energies all over the place) all you really need to do is to wait patiently for Mercury to leave retrograde on the 15th. I can sincerely and confidently tell you this, once that planet of all things communication comes out of stall on the same date as a pretty influential New Moon eclipse, well, ladies and gentlemen start your engines because your personally powerful FINISH LINE is ten times closer than you think! Now, you won’t actually feel the full intensity of all your super stellar energies pushing and prodding you to the apex of your Wish List until your ruling planet, Mars, also comes out of his stuck retro space on March 10. So do be aware than until that happens you MUST resist all the invites to waste time on meaningless or inauthentic activities and events and keep your eyes directly on whatever YOUR prize is. NO pity partying allowed either, there’s nothing to be pitiful about! The powerful eclipse that I previously referred to on January 15 actually lights up your 10th House of Fame, Recognition and Honors telling you it’s time to get up, get out and get yourself a boatload of all of those same things. You WILL soon be richly rewarded for ALL of your very hard work although with Mercury working backward it might be a bit of a while before you see the actual fruits of those labors. Just do what you can, especially earlier in the month to give some extra added oomph to your creativity specifically where career or agendas concerned with your self confidence and identity are concerned. January 3 thru 6 is a hugely creative and clever time for you, don’t let your own frustration derail your train to success though, but, rather, choo, choo, choo on this: you’re going to break old barriers and new ground this year, so, keep up a good head of steam be your own hot self! And, whatever you do, don’t dare doubt the effectiveness of your efforts. Especially right before that eclipse hits. Change is right around the proverbial and really positive corner. By the time generous, gift-giving Jupiter enters Pisces on the 17th and lovable/loving Venus alongside the Sun all enter your arena on the 18th of the month, brightening and lightening your own 11th House of Hopes, Wishes and Dreams, you’ll feel so much better about everything that you simply won’t believe. But you should. BELIEVE that is. Your future is calling and you need to look forward to it. In other words, don’t look back! Some new projects should be cropping up during the days of the middle of the month too. While you’re busy not looking back maybe you could look up an old colleague or two because these new deals have networking written all over them. With restrictive Saturn sitting in your 7th House of Partners on the 22nd and 24th, you maybe find that some of that networking needs to be a bit more restrained than your usual ‘take no prisoners’ warrior like stance. During these days the only warrior pose you should be enacting is on a yoga mat as self-discipline will rule. The end of the monthly finds those cosmic consorts, Venus and Mars, having a bit of a squabble that spills over into your space. PLEASE try to remember that this conflict is planetary and belongs to them. You should ignore their childishness and get on with expressing your adult emotions with respect, grace and an open attitude. With an overly dramatic Leo Full Moon rising on the 30th you will be much more well advised to keep thinking about how not only is this month the beginning of a great year, but, also, how you can handle these same sorts of situations differently since there will be sure to be more as 2010 progresses…and as your entire life does too! Progress and progress and more progress will be your hallmark for this New Year, so, whattaya waiting for? Get progressing!
Your Shui:
When the calendar for the year changed once again and there was to be another month representing the beginning or start (in ancient times March was actually the month that saluted the beginning of another New Year) the Romans decided to name the first month after their god called Janus. Janus was a real two face since he could both look behind and ahead at the same time. Some might say that you two have a lot in common except that now, this month, you need to leave your mirror be the only thing with two faces as you look steadily and enthusiastically ahead. Speaking of mirrors, place one in the ‘Career’ area of your bedroom and one in the ‘Fame’ area of that same space. Both mirrors should be small and round (about two to three inches in diameter) and both need to be positioned about three inches down from the ceiling. Without getting too too technical both mirrors should also appear to sit directly across from each other. This will bring a double boost of abundance and energy to the electricity that the eclipse will be using to charge up your 10th House of Fame. Leave these mirrors in place for at least 27 days. Or forever. If I were you, I’d at least leave them the year. You’ll have much to reflect on this time next year if you do.
